Your questions, answered...
You must be at least 23 years old to hire a campervan in the UK with CampRolo and have held a full driving licence for at least two years, allowing drivers as young as 23 to book. Drivers aged 23–24 are required to pay a higher refundable security deposit of £700 due to insurance requirements.
Yes! Every CampRolo hire includes vehicle insurance as standard, so you’re covered from the moment you drive away. It provides protection for third-party injury and property damage, as well as cover for the campervan itself, giving you peace of mind while you’re on the road.
Your camper will be ready to go with a full tank, simply return it full at the end of your trip. That keeps things fair, simple, and easy for everyone.
Yes, we offer dog friendly campervan hire, with six of our campervans suitable for travelling with dogs. Campervan trips are perfect for dogs and their humans. You can bring up to two dogs per hire for a £30 cleaning fee, we’ll even leave a little welcome treat for them when they arrive. We just ask that dogs aren’t left alone in the campers at any time.

You’ll need a valid full UK, EU or EEA driving licence that you’ve held for at least two years.
Our campervans are primarily available for travel within the UK and Ireland. European travel may be possible on request.
If you’d like to travel abroad, please let us know your plans by contacting bookings@camprolo.co.uk to discuss - it’s subject to approval and a small extra charge to extend your insurance and breakdown cover internationally. If approved, we’ll send you the extra documents and details you need for your trip.
Our minimum campervan hire period is 2 days, making it ideal for spontaneous weekend breaks or short getaways. Check availability here.
You have 14 days to cancel and receive a full refund of your deposit, provided your booking is made more than 8 weeks before your trip start date.
A 35% deposit is required when booking. After the 14-day cooling-off period, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
- If you cancel more than 8 weeks before your trip: you will lose your deposit.
- If you cancel within 8 weeks of your trip: the full hire balance remains payable.
Bookings made within 8 weeks of the trip start date are final and do not include a 14-day cooling-off period.
If we are able to rebook your dates, we may offer a partial or full refund at our discretion.

Yes, all of our campervans are fully insulated and 5 are fitted with heaters, making them suitable for year-round travel across the UK.
